Three Times Thursday

1. Do you ever get a 'break' from people (Say your S.O. goes on a personal vacation or something)? If you do, do you like the time alone? Why/why not?
+ A time alone for myself is a nice thing! Yup, a break from everyone else is good!

+ Of course not! We all need to be alone sometimes to find what we really want. As for me, it's the time where I can think deeper..

Wednesday Weirdness

Very first time to Join!

1. How often do you talk to your siblings?
+ Always. YM is FREE and Skype too:D

2. How well do you deal when given an ultimatum?
+ Cramming! I don't like that. So, I try my best to be as early as possible. But there's always times when I am just late with things. I don't do good with it..sadly!

3. Have you ever dated someone or had a lover who had an emotional or mental disorder?
+ Never!

4. How do you feel about crossdressing?
+ What?

5. Have you ever lied about the number of sexual partners you have had to someone? Why?
+ Why would I tell those stuff to anybody else not close to me? I'm just too secretive with those things you know. It's personal stuff for me. But I never lied to the husband. :D

6. Does your significant other have the same political and religious views that you do? How often do you discuss politics and religion with them?
+ Yup, we do. Politics, when there's election coming around. Religious, we're not really that religious. Sad,eh? But I don't want to be hypocrite!

+ Ok. Football! But it is not boring just like the husband said! But I don't get it! That's why I get bored looking at something I can't even understand! lol

+ Yeah..I'm sure you did too! ROFL

Good News and a little downside..

The other night, the husband told me there is an opening position in his department. He was telling me because he knows that I can be a good candidate for the job! I asked him twice last year if I can go back to a part time job. We didn't talked about that again since last year. Now, he's telling me it's possible that I apply for the position. Of course, he's the boss! haha But I am not sure if I can juggle being a Mom and then have a part time job! But I also want to go back to work. It has been years. the last time I had a part time job was at a hotel where I was a front desk for 5 hrs a day! I didn't liked the job because I hated standing! So now, since the little boy will go back to school next week. I am really thinking what if! He said we can always hire a babysitters for the 5 hrs that I am not here in the house. The pay is really good and to think that I can be a regular employee after 6 months! Hubby is connected to this company for 12 years already. So, I was thinking that we will just find a babysitters for my 8 months old! But thinking of his age and leaving him alone for 5 hrs everyday makes me sick to my stomach! I've never tried leaving my boys to someone we don't know! When I worked in the hotel, My Dad and Mom was here that time! Now, I'm torn between the nice paying job and the little boy! But of course the husband told me I don't need to work. It's just this work will hone my skills and my knowledge more. And being able to work in one of the top companies around the world is just something! sigh...I don't know..I still want to take care with my little boy. I think I'm built to be a mom at home raising with them..But if ever I can decide to go back to work, this babysitting jobs is in the top of my list! I've read that they have been in the business for many years and they will help us find the best Nanny for my little boy. And after being a member in this site they will send over the possible sitters that I am looking for! This sounds great already!

But there's always a but..I am still not sure if I want the work..I want to go back to work. I'll be assigned to field. The pay is really good with allowance. But, part of me is saying that my little boy is too small for 8 months to be left alone...I'll let you know in a week or two..Wish me luck!

Slice of Life #4

I'm sorry I was out of the loop for weeks. Life has been so busy. But I'm joining this week!

I'll chose the Writer’s Choice-Chapter 1 for August 17, 2008.

Please submit a story about any childhood memory, from earliest to about age 10-11.

This is a bit strange. Writing something that is so important to me and letting the whole word know about it. But I guess, we all want change sometimes! It was December 13, 1989-I was exactly 11 years old. I was rushing to go home from school because that afternoon we will have our school party! Of course, Mom bought me my fave party dress then the gift that I'll have to exchange to my classmate! But Mom asked me something first to do something outside. Just a few walk across the street. We live in a small village so there was not much of car or truck passing through. Since it was rainy, she told me bring along an umbrella! I was thinking deep when I passed by the store then I saw 3 friends of my Dad! It was quiet, normal because of the gloomy day! But I think I was out of the world thinking and walking because the next time I knew where I was was under a huge tuck! Yes, I was hit by a truck! I saw people shouting, I can barely remember what happened. I was rushed by an ambulance to the hospital and there I was. Lying in bed with a lot of paraphernalia in my head! My Mom and grannies was there along with my brothers. I can see them from a far. Mom was holding my hands. They were doing something in my back..There were a lot of tests done..It was something I could never forget in my entire life. I could have been dead! After tests and staying for 3 weeks in the hospital, I was back in the house..I had scars and a lot of things they did..I didn't know what to think I was only 11! But I am just thankful that God gave me a second chance! A second LIFE! He is good and I am thankful in every step I make!

That was my unforgettable moment during my childhood! I was a happy child though..Mom always said, "you should always be thankful." Yup, I am!

Lighting Goodness

I was up early today because I thought there was a black out! But it wasn't! The light bulbs in the chandelier there was acting up and it's like we're having some kind of disco! :) So, I asked the husband to fix them. It's provided in the mansion that we stayed at. We didn't buy them ans since it's been years that we have not done any changes, I told hubby that we can prolly buy a new chandelier or anything that suits in the living room. I'm still not sure if we will buy one this weekend because he said that we should contact our agent for this apartment! And while I was busy browsing, I saw this very nice Chandeliers. I saw that there is a huge sale going on! now, I love sale and I see that the modern kind of chandeliers are on sale too! I'll check with the husband if he's ok with them! You know, he's the one who will pay;)

And my list goes on and on! I see they have affordable lights and expensive ones too! They have a lot of lighting items that you might be interested too! The Outdoor Lighting Fixtures has nice collections plus the one that I love is the Vanity Lighting section! You can shop by brand and I like how easy this site to navigate! They have bathroom hardware items that are to die for! I mean,c 'mon! don't you just love the details? Now, what to get;)

Maternity Dresses

I can remember how my pregnancy went last year! Last year summer, I was 6 months preggy and my it was awesome! I love anything girly stuff and I just love anything have to do with red and purple! I remember I love to wear red, purple and brown Maternity Clothes and I always find something trendy of course! If you read my blog/s then you saw some of my pictures! some of my online friends thought the baby was a girl! Actually, we all are here! We thought that peanut will be a girl until late 6 months of my pregnancy! It was so different when I had my first little boy. The second was a breeze and it looks like I was only a few weeks;-) I even have a few Juicy Couture Maternity items to boot! :D I love fashion and how much more if I am preggy:) Good thing, the husband has been spooling me;-) I love being preggy but of course it can be a lot tiring!

So anyway, I also have a friend that is preggy right now and she's a little over 10 weeks and it's also her second baby! I am happy for her too. And when I saw this Maternity Dresses online, I know this is what she really wants! I wished I saw this last year when I have the bulging tummy;-) hehe I could really use some of those fashion maternity items! Can you believe that I have been wearing maternity jeans until my 38th weeks? Yeah! :D I'll definitely bookmark this site not only they have great maternity items for those preggy Mommas out there but they also have diaper bags that I might going to like! New Baby

A friend of mine is expecting her first baby! I am soo happy for her and her husband:) We don't see that often but we chat a lot online and my heart sing when she told me last week! Heaven knows how much they wanted this little one! so, right now I am already thinking what to give for the baby shower! And I saw this baby pushchairs that are totally kewl and cool! I might just get one for my little peanut too! This site has a lot of baby stuff that I went gaga looking around with their stuff! They have this pram, toys and more! But I like this pushchair much better. My..a lot of choices but it's still a little early though so, I have more time in my hand to think what's best to give for her baby!

I was thinking of just getting some stuff for my little peanut too that way I can save the shipping. I love it because I can save my time going to the department store. In there they even have baby cots, highchairs for feeding which by the way what I am really looking. We have a small one here but I really need something bigger. They also have swings for toys. And the best thing? They accept Paypal payments:) We'll see what to get first and will share here what are my loot! :D I'm excited!

Finally, it's done!

I changed the theme for this blog yesterday and for the life of me, I can't find the code that was hidden! + I'd like to have the new 3G iphone!!! i just can't get it these days because it's always out of stock!

Twosome: my-- how time flies: Back to School sales are already over and I'm seeing Thanksgiving stuff in the stores! Whaddayathink: are you ready for Summertime to be over and done with?
+ Not yet ready. I still have to do some more school stuff shopping for my little boy! But it can get too hot too. So, let the fall begin! :D

Threesome: Eggos-- and the like: do you have a frozen food you keep around just because you actually like the darned thing?
+ Well, how did you know? haha We still have the ice cream cake in the freezer and it has been there for months now. I really like how it looks though. I might just throw it up later! LOL

Curious as a Cat

1) What one thing in your life best represents freedom to you?
+ To do the things I want to do. I have an x-military Dad who is very protective to me. I grow up to have set time of the day. I was house-school-house situation. I never regret though but it would be good if I had some freedom to just spread my wings..

2) What musical piece makes you feel contemplative?
+ Piano.

3) What is your biggest pet peeve?
+ Hypocrite and those people who thinks they know so much.

4) Would the world be better off if it was run by a global government?
+ Nope. The world is so big that it should be divided with smaller governance.

Saturday 9: The Lazy Days of Summer

1. What is your favorite summer drink?
+ Mango shake-Banana, please;)

2. What is the best summer sport to play?
+Volleyball but I'm not good with that. I just watch my siblings play..lol

3. What’s the best summer sport to watch?
+ That one, volleyball.

4. Do you like the ocean, the pool or the lake?
+ Anywhere there is water! But the husband and I are beach junkie!

5. Some folks drink whiskey in the winter and gin, tequila (margaritas) or rum drinks in the summer. Does you alcohol of choice change?
+ I'm not an alcohol drinker. I drink at times when there is occasion or the husband and I are in the bar with friends. We do drink red wine almost every night;)

6. What is your favorite summer song?
+ Any..

7. What was your best summer growing up? How old were you and why was it best?
+ It was when we moved to be with my Dad! It was summer and I get to meet my cousins again. We went in the lake and some of my Aunt's and Uncles. It was one of the best summer when I was growing up. I was around 10 or 11.

8. Have you ever had a summer romance that you knew would end?
+ Secret;) hehe I was in my 3rd year high school. I smiled looking back;-)

9. How old were you when you first went skinny-dipping? Who were you with?
+ I was in my college years. Fun with my college friends. It was fun:)

3. It's Beautiful...summer! I really love our vacation and hope next year too;) I was hoping we could catch up on some Miami Heat Tickets but will do that next time!

4. Tastes Awful...the chinese food that we ordered the other night. Ackk Must be not new cook!
