Going for another visit!

My little boy has been asking of going back to Pooh Bear's book house. You know where this place means? He wants us to go back to Disney! :) He said he wanted to hug Poor Bear since the last time we went there Pooh was kinda busy so we didn’t had the chance to check the honey land:) Although he saw Mickey and the other characters but I still love to go back too for him and for myself of course..It’s so magical in there..So, hubby and I are thinking that we might go there this December with my Mom and Aunt too! So, I checked Disney Tickets online and it’s worth it! Brow has been bugging me to go there. So, see everyone in here loves to be there again! We can just take this opportunity to celebrate my birthday in there too. We are really open to new ideas on how to spend my birthday and of course Christmas! It will be Little Peanuts first Christmas and I want it to be something special! And then my birthday of course:) We’ll see..there are still months to consider though :)

I'm good with money?

Hmm..I'm not sure about this..lol But I kind of like the result:)

You Are Great With Money

You know the value of a dollar - and you save and spend wisely.

By living below your means, you've set yourself up for a rich future.

And while it may hurt to sacrifice now, you'll probably have plenty of money later on.

You're on your way to riches - just keep it up.

Test yourself!

Car Stuff

My Uncle will celebrate his birthday next month. He is one car/truck kind of person just like my granny because he loves anything about old trucks and then old cars plus anything to do with cars. So hubby and I were thinking since last couple of weeks what to get on his birthday. I might need to find him car stuff or auto accessories because that way he can really appreciate it. I am also thinking that he already have a lot of that one so, maybe we will just give him cash so that he can buy something for his own. Anyway, we’re not sure yet. I’ll see on the net what kind of accessories to get if ever we end up getting this for him. :) I’m not the person to talk to specially cars! So, wish me luck!

10 Power Tips to Improve your Blog!

I got this here and thought of sharing some great finds over the net:)

1. Your blog needs to be visually appealing. Kick clutter to the curb.

The best blogs are easy to read and minimalistic. This is the first major downfall of every blog. Keep it clean! Don’t put too many ads all over the place and don’t overdo the design. Too many ads can seem like a desperate beg for help, be smart about it! Integrate the ad’s in to seamlessly work with your design.

If your blog strains the eyes, people will not want to come back to read anything else. Use a color scheme (anywhere from 2-4 colors [for help on this, visit Color Schemer) and make sure there is enough spacing around everything. Believe me if your blog is a breeze to read, people will come back to enjoy it more often than not.

2. Don’t go overboard with ad’s if you are just starting out.

If your blog is new (less than 1-2 months old) try to stick it out until you get a decent reader base before integrating ads. You will be able to gauge people’s responses to the website first and get some loyal readers. After you have established some kind of reader base then you can begin to slowly integrate ads.

If you have too many ads, people will get turned off and annoyed, that’s the complete opposite of our goals.

3. Work, edit, and re-work your content.

Content is king as they say. That statement is definitely true. Make sure what you are writing is relevant and interesting to read. Why hang out at a website if there’s nothing worth reading? Have someone edit your articles, take a day or two after its posted and re-read it to see if you can improve anything.

Lightning Tip: Make sure to implement as many relevant keywords as possible to direct search engine traffic.

4. Don’t slack, post new stories/articles often.

I covered this a little before, but it’s worth mentioning again. Write at least 2-3 times per week. It shouldn’t take long. Hell you could talk about a cool new website you found for two paragraphs, that’s better than nothing.

Updating lets your users know that you are still there, it adds new content and gives them a reason to return to your blog

Lightning Tip: The more you post, the more Google picks up your articles (along with other crawlers), this will in the long-run drive thousands of extra users a month to your site if not more.

5. Submit to Social Bookmarking websites.

This is a big one. When I first started out, almost 50% of my traffic came from Digg and Reddit (my two personal favorites). I made 3-4 front pages (popular posts) and traffic exploded. I remember at one point I was struggling to get 500 unique visitors a day, then an article hit a Digg/Reddit front page and my server crashed because I netted almost 60,000 people in one night.

Always submit noteworthy articles, chances are you might get at least 1-2 front page stories per month (if not more!).

6. Network yourself; find other blogs in your niche.

Find other blogs like yours and connect with the authors. E-mail them, post in-depth replies on their articles, most blog owners are extremely nice people and will be willing to help you! Offer to exchange links and such; this will help your community grow, even if by a small margin. Remember, every reader counts. As long as you have at least one reader, you are making an impact.

7. Link your website wherever you can without spamming. (Email, Forums)

Another important topic that is often overlooked. If you are a member of a forum, add it to your signature. Email? Add it as a signature to that too! Wherever you can link without being too pushy, do it. In the long run those extra pageviews will count.

8. Host your blog on your own domain.

No one likes having name.blogspot.com. Buy a domain! These days you can get one anywhere from $3-$5 per month and in no time your ads should easily cover these costs. Get your own domain and be unique.

9. Write compelling titles - capture the reader in the first line.

The title and first three sentences of a post can make or break the post. Capture the reader’s attention off the bat, make them keep reading. Boring, cookie cutter introductions are everywhere, stand out.

10. Don’t give up.

Motivation is key and is also the backbone to building a successful blog (or building anything for that matter). Remember it’s not a quarter mile sprint, it’s a marathon. Take your time, review yourself and your blog and make gradual improvements. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Tips on Baby Names

I saw this in Baby Center and thought its helpful. Not that you want it yourself because I’m not sure if you readers there are preggos just like me..But hubby and I here are still thinking of what will be the name of our little peanut:) Yup, 34 weeks and we don’t have a name yet! :D

Anyway, here its!

Where do I begin?
Start discussing names with your partner as soon as possible to set some guidelines. Keep a list of favorites handy so you can add to it whenever a name pops into your head. Use our Baby Name Finder tool to find name ideas.

There are lots of considerations when you’re deciding on a name, such as appeasing relatives, avoiding embarrassing initials or nicknames, and steering clear of monikers associated with bad memories. These are some of the main points to keep in mind:

• Sound and compatibility. How your baby’s name sounds when it’s said aloud is one of the most essential things to think about. Is it melodious? Harsh? Does it go well with your last name? Often, longer first names work better with shorter last names, and vice versa. Combining a first name that ends in a vowel with a last name that starts with a vowel generally isn’t the best choice — the names tend to run together (”Eva Anderson”). Avoid first names that rhyme with your last name. And please resist puns: A name like “Holly Wood” or “Bud Weiser” will be cute for about five minutes. Then your poor child will be stuck with it for the rest of his or her life.

• Uniqueness. An unusual name has the advantage of making the bearer stand out from the crowd. Fran Barclay of Ann Arbor, Michigan, sometimes wishes she hadn’t named her second son Matthew. When he started school, he had three other Matts in his class. “It was years before he really understood that his name wasn’t Matt B.,” she says. On the other hand, a name no one has heard of and few can pronounce can bring attention a child would rather avoid. One way of striking a balance is to choose a familiar first name if the child’s last name is unusual, and vice versa. If your son’s last name will be Smith, you might want to consider something with more pizazz than Joe for his first name. But if his last name is Aytrivbsoan, then Joe might be preferable to, say, Archimedes as a given name.

• Relatives and friends. Many parents choose to name their babies after a grandparent, other relative, or close friend. This option can provide you with a good pool of names to consider. Take ideas graciously, but don’t tell anyone what you and your partner have decided until after the baby is born — when it’s too late to give in to any subtle hints. And never let anyone pressure you into a name you don’t like. Great Aunt Hepzibah may have survived all right with her name, but will your baby?

• Ancestry and heritage. Your child’s heritage is an essential part of who she is, and you may want her name to reflect that. Your religious preference may steer you toward a certain category of names. Or perhaps your family has a tradition of naming first-born sons after their fathers. If you love a name but it doesn’t meet your family’s traditional requirements, consider using it as a middle name. Or give her the name you prefer and use the traditional name for her middle name.

• Meaning. No one is likely to treat your daughter Ingrid differently because her name means “hero’s daughter,” but the derivation of your baby’s name is something you may want to think about. After all, if little Stockard finds out someday that her name means “from the yard of tree stumps,” she may not be pleased.

• Initials and nicknames. People, especially kids, can be cruel when it comes to nicknames, so try to anticipate any potentially embarrassing ones. Of course, just because you don’t think of something doesn’t mean some clever second-grader down the line won’t — and he’ll probably find it utterly hilarious. But at least you can rule out the obvious problems. Also, be aware of what your child’s initials spell. Zachary Ian Thomas will more than likely get a lot of teasing; Zachary Edward Thomas probably won’t.

Remember, none of these are hard rules. The most important criterion for a name is simply that you and your partner like it.

:D

Family Investments

Looking back when hubby and I just started out, we went high and low for searching the best property that we can afford of course and the best place to have our dream house. Although the place we got now was somewhat small for our growing family. But it’s better that we have a place to call our very own. Besides, all those money was from hubby's hard work when we weren't married yet! I am so proud of him:)It was his wedding gift to ourselves. Hopefully in time we can have another one. And as always investments has never been old. And then I saw this Wisconsin Lakefront Real Estate that has a beautiful lake with a sunset you can always catch every afternoon. I was curious about the site so, I checked and read very good stuff in there. I am definitely keeping this in mind for future references. If you are looking for a new investment too, this might be your dream place to grow with your family! Have a look and see for yourself:)

New place?

Moving or relocation is totally hassle. I remember when we transferred from Bangkok to Tokyo a few years ago and we have to deal with this international movers. Although it was a blessing because the movers that we had was contacted directly from my hubby’s company. And then the most hassle part is if you have an auto shipping. I’m sure they will do all the work but transferring from one place to another is tiring and totally taxing. But I’m just glad that if we really want to transfer maybe in the near future I have this Cheap Moving Company that I saw online earlier. I'll let hubby's company contact and let them check for sure. And of course selecting the right moving company can be a bit of a challenge and way to hassle and hard to find this days. But good thing about this company that I saw online is that they go through a strict application process to ensure a quality moving company. All of our movers in our network have to be licensed and insured. They must meet a number of qualifying factors in order to be accepted into our network. Our moving process is set up to assist individuals and families to not only select a reputable mover, but to also have some assurance that they will have a smooth move. Sounds very interesting!

You are Milk Chocolate

A total dreamer, you spend most of your time with your head in the clouds.

You often think of the future, and you are always working toward your ideal life.

Also nostalgic, you rarely forget a meaningful moment... even those from long ago.

Saturday Night!

Saturday night was a bit slow here in the house. We didn’t went out because it was one of those lazy Saturday and besides it’s getting cold outside. So, I asked hubby to rent new DVD’s in Tsutaya earlier that day. Tsutaya is a name of our local DVD/CD shop near our place. Little boy got a bunch of new cartoon DVD’s too. He got new Spongebob, Pooh Bear and etc..I was even laughing because he already saw some of them already..But he said..it’s ok! So, yeah;) And then after having dinner went in the living room to watch this Lucky Number Slevin! I like movies like this. Action thriller with a little twist. It was released last year though so, I’m sure dome of you already saw it! But if you haven’t it’s a good movie with a catch! :D Josh Hartnett is cute in there too even with the broken nose..I like Lucy Liu in there because she’s really a bubbler. and then of course Bruce Willis is getting too old..lol But still a good actor to boot!

Lucky Number Slevin (also known as Lucky # Slevin or The Wrong Man) is a 2006 crime thriller film. Set in New York City, the plot focuses on the paths of Slevin Kelevra (Hartnett), Lindsey (Liu), two feuding crime bosses known as The Boss (Freeman) and The Rabbi (Kingsley), and a mysterious assassin known as Mr. Goodkat (Willis). {Wekepedia}

It’s a nice one and I love it;) That was our movie night! :D Enjoyed and had a great night;)

Dreams

Lately I have been thinking of going back to school and taking up a grad school. Let's see how it goes after I give birth to our second child. But this post will be about my cousin who wants to go back to school. It's something we didn't expect because this time she wants to be a Police. So probably she will be taking up Criminology in this online university that I saw earlier. This site offer demanding and unpredictable occupations. I really wish her the best! She has been telling us on how she isn’t happy with being a teacher. She is still very young though and a very intelligent young lady. She wanted more and I know that she can really make this one too! But part of it being happy for her is that hoping it’s not something like Police. But she always tells us that she wanted to serve the country and all. I remember when she was growing up that she loves to play guns and play with boys rather than the girly stuff things. She isn’t a tomboy because seriously she is beautiful! But it’s her decision and all we have to do is to respect her!

Reminiscing

Reminiscing Our Childhood Questions

1. What is the earliest memory you have as a child? Think far back.

Ans: When I was 3 yrs old. Funny, I peed in my underwear because my cousin was bullying me. He was my best friend as far as I can recall.

2. What is a special memory you have about someone? It could be a grandparent, family friend - not including your parents - that you knew as a child. What do you recall about them that makes the memory special?

Ans: It's my grannies(Mom's Parents). I love my grandpa(he passed away 4 yrs ago) very much. My grannies had a small farm in a small village back home so when he goes home every afternoon after taking care with the farm. I remember he always had a special something for me. Like he made wooden toys for me. As for my Grandma(she's 70 yrs old now and still love her to pieces), she kisses me in my belly and I remember that I would giggled and laugh hard.

3. What was a favorite game you played as a child?

Ans: Not sure if anyone of you know Chinese Garter but in Philippines where I grow up, its a fave with little girls.

4. What was a memorable trip that you can recall being a little kid and what did you do that makes you think about it even now?

Ans: When I was growing up, Dad had a work away from us. I recall that we visited him in his office while he was at work. We traveled like 24 hrs drive just to see him. He goes home every twice a month...I still think about it now, that hopefully he was with us when I grow up that way, we are more closer to him..

Tagging everyone in my blogroll if you care to;)

Sukiyaki-cut beef with Kecap Manis

I'll try this one for my little boy! I always check this Pinoycook.net for more informations on recipes! She's amazing:)

The Recipe goes like this;

Kecap Manis is a thick and syrupy sweet soy sauce that comes from Indonesia. Sweetened with palm sugar and flavored with star anise and other Oriental spices, its flavor is more complex than ordinary soy sauce. It’s great as a dipping sauce but works equally well as a marinade. You can buy it in most supermarkets or you can make your own.

Throw in some vegetables and you have a stir-fried dish that cooks in 15 minutes flat, including preparation time.

This recipe is good for two.

You will need about 100 grams of sukiyaki-cut beef (half of what you see in the topmost photo). Cut the beef into strips about half an inch wide. Place the beef in a bowl, add about two tablespoonfuls of Kecap Manis and mix until all the beef strips are coated with the sweet soy sauce.

Peel a medium-sized carrot and julienne (cut into matchsticks).

Next, trim about 50 grams of French beans (you can substitute Baguio beans) and cut into halves.

Crush, peel and mince two cloves of garlic. Peel and finely slice an onion.

Heat two to three tablespoonfuls of vegetable cooking oil in a frying pan.1 Add the beef and vegetables to the hot oil all at once. Sprinkle with salt and lots of freshly-ground pepper. Stir-fry over high heat for about two minutes or just until the beef changes color.2

Serve at once or pack in a lunch box.

Notes:

1If you’re not using a non-stick pan: To prevent the beef from sticking to the pan, heat the pan before adding the oil then wait until the oil starts to smoke before throwing in the beef and vegetables.

2At this point, the vegetables will be tender crisp so the stir-fry is just perfect. Do not be tempted to cook everything longer; otherwise, the beef will turn dry and tough, and the veggies will turn soggy.

:D

Footages

I love looking atHD Stock Video Library online specially about places that I have never been to! There are totally fascinating ones and even footages I would never think they really actually exist! One thing that you can also find is that you can buy them and put them in your site if you really need something to show to your possible customers! Isn’t that cool that you don’t need to go to that places and take videos yourself?! And then I just adore the ones that has beautiful views specially the beaches in Caribbean and then places in Europe! It’s like virtual traveling! If you want to check the site for buying the footages, check the site for more information.

This is FUNNY!

So ,please read ahead! I read this in the forum that I frequent to and I just had to Laugh Out Loud!!!

First Date..........

If you didn't see this on the Tonight show, I hope you're sitting down when you read it. This is probably the funniest date story ever, first date or not!!! We have all had bad dates but this takes the cake.

Jay Leno went into the audience to find the most embarrassing first date that a woman ever had.

The winner described her worst first date experience. There was absolutely no question as to why her tale took the prize!

She said it was midwinter... Snowing and quite cold...and the guy had taken her skiing in the mountains outside Salt Lake City, Utah.

It was a day trip (no overnight). They were strangers, after all, and truly had never met before.

The outing was fun but relatively uneventful until they were headed home late that afternoon.

They were driving back down the mountain, when she gradually began to realize that she should not have had that extra latte.

They were about an hour away from anywhere with a rest room and in the middle of nowhere!

Her companion suggested she try to hold it, which she did for a while.

Unfortunately, because of the heavy snow and slow going, there came a point where she told him that he had better stop and let her go beside the road, or it would be the front seat of his car. They stopped and she quickly crawled out beside the car, yanked her pants down and started.
In the deep snow she didn't have good footing, so she let her butt rest against the rear fender to steady herself.

Her companion stood on the side of the car watching for traffic and indeed was a real gentleman and refrained from peeking. All she could think about was the relief she felt despite the rather embarrassing nature of the situation. Upon finishing however, she soon became aware of another sensation.

As she bent to pull up her pants, the young lady discovered her buttocks were firmly glued against the car's fender.

Thoughts of tongues frozen to poles immediately came to mind as she attempted to disengage her flesh from the icy metal. It was quickly apparent that she had a brand new problem due to the extreme cold.

Horrified by her plight and yet aware of the humor of the moment, she answered her date's concerns about "what is taking so long" with a reply that indeed, she was "freezing her butt off" and in need of some assistance!

He came around the car as she tried to cover herself with her sweater and then, as she looked imploringly into his eyes, he burst out laughin g.

She too, got the giggles and when they finally managed to compose themselves, they assessed her dilemma.

Obviously, as hysterical as the situation was, they also were faced with a real problem. Both agreed it would take something hot to free her chilly cheeks from the grip of the icy metal!

Thinking about what had gotten her into the predicament in the first place, both quickly realized that there was only one way to get her free.

So, as she looked the other way, her first-time date proceeded to unzip his pants and pee her butt off the fender. As the audience screamed in laughter, she took the Tonight Show prize hands down. Or perhaps that should be "pants down." And you thought your first date was embarrassing.

Jay Leno's comment... "This gives a whole new meaning to being pissed off.

Oh, and how did the first date turn out? He became her husband and was sitting next to her on the Leno show

Everyone jokes at him..that makes it not easy all the time! But when he finally get older and his family moved to the states permanently, his family decided and helped him to do this houston lap band surgery. It was something he never thought of doing but wanted it after all and glad he finally took the plunge! Right now, he got a family of his own and happy living a normal life. He’s older than me though and when I remember how big he was, it always gives me a smile in my face. Don't get me wrong but I tell you he was BIG! I'm glad he found something like this surgery. As it says, Journey Lite is a fast growing company that specialized surgical facilities with highly skilled and experienced surgeons and a team of health care professionals dedicated to providing the safest and least invasive surgical weight-loss solution and the most comprehensive support programs available in the country. Spyware

Having a virus is not a good thing to have! Totally a waste of time and hassle when it happens. So, I was thinking that I need to purchase something helpful because after all, my computer is like my life in the internet world! I use my computer like 12 hrs a day and sometimes even more:D So, I thought I’d share this great find I found! It’s ESET, it the best Security Software in each threat category including Anti Virus, Anti Spyware, Exploits, and Firewalls and put them all in one place. Read in there that it helps NOD32 Advanced Heuristics provides 0 day anti virus protection - even before other anti virus solutions get updates distributed. This is a critical advantage that NOD32 has in today’s fast changing world of threats. And then the other one which is a great thing to know is that NOD32 has the #1 rated fastest scanner rates and extremely low utilization of system resources. Independent tests show NOD32 has a 2- 6 times faster hard disk scanning rate than other (and much more popular), anti virus solutions. There are still more but you can check the site for more informations! Already told hubby about it!

Orlando Plans

Being a Mommy and a wife to a hubby who travels a lot this days due to his work can be a little disappointing! But what can I do? After all, it’s for the family. But glad that hubby makes sure to spend more time with us when he gets home. Well, he always makes sure he can spend time for us but being with a lot of responsibilities at work can be overwhelming in his part. And I understand that he needs to be with his work even during at night because of online meetings and calls. And then he told me a few weeks ago that after the project for next years and that little pea will be a little bigger he plans that we can go to Orlando! Definitely still a plan but there’s already a raft draft of the cities and places he will be going for next year until the 2nd quarter and part of that is going to Orlando. :) So, I was thinking that there are so much to see in there! We can hop around Disney and then Universal Studio’s! And of course I have to check this orlando discount hotel for great finds and affordable booking online! Hopefully, this one will come true!

On Business

I am not a good person to talk to about business. Because I can’t even manage our own expenses let alone having our own business. And yep, I got it from my Mom who is a one day millionaire!!! :) Seriously though, I’ve been totally good this past months and considering too that we are a growing family of 4, so I just have to be more careful with dealing with our expenses now! I am taking the plunge and really considering doing my own but it might be until next year! And talking about expenses and how I maybe able to help with hubby, I come across this multivend business thing! Don’t have much information yet but I am looking at it right now and learning the hops and downs of having a franchise vending machine. It is not much but it does help a little in your daily expenses. I really want to help my family and in this part of the place, everything you can see here in the streets are vending machines. So, I might as well check this out and let see how it goes from there! ;)Wish me luck, peeps!

Be Safe!

Just earlier today my heart was beating faster because I received an email telling me that my account had problems regarding a hacker trying to get into my account? How scary is that??? And then I'm glad it was just a SPAM! lol So, talking about PASSWORDS, I have A LOT! And I’m sure you do as well. I'm a computer/Internet kind of person and I cannot live without either of them. So, I surf a lot the net and members of a lot of forums and sites! I do keep a handful of them and sometimes I even forget of all the places I check in the website everyday. There are only a few ones that I remember and some of the sites, I took note of those. And I just have to share this thing that I found online! I learned that there is this password keeper and you can do a Password Reset if ever you forget your password. This a such a great thing! I have been looking for something like this and glad I came across this site. This is also good if you are running an online business. Security is always a top priority.

Informations on Clients

I had no idea how those departments stores and online shopping shops keeps a lot of information with their consumers and customers alike..Emails,telephone numbers and such..things like that. They do send promo’s and emails to all their customers every time they have sales going on. Have you wondered about that? I do! And then I come across this Sales Leads that let them to know to whom and where they are going to send their emails, notices and even send important messages if they will be having sales or just plane announcements about the shops. Some huge company sends posts massages to all the people around the country if they are going to have sales or new available products that are up for a grab! It’s totally a lot less hassle for the said company if this is what they have been using. If you are a new company looking for something like this. Check it out! And oh, it says that they are one of the successful mailing list providers, offering customized mailing lists, telemarketing lists and fax lists to small business and Fortune 1000 clients.

Repairing the Credits

My bro wants to have a new card. He has been paying good deal of money in the old credit card that he has now and he’s been telling me that he still have loans in that older one. He is single but he buys a lot of stuff! I always told him not to splurge on things he won’t used but what can I do? So I searched the net and found this very useful information about having a new Credit Card! At least he can help reduce his monthly payments and that he can eliminate the old credit card. It says that it allows consumers, business and students alike to search, compare, and apply for all types of credit card offers, from a low interest and reward card to cards for people with bad to average credit. I am glad I saw this site. I told him that next time when he want another credit card he should be aware of the high percentage he is going to pay! I just hope he learns something out of this experience.

Keys to My Heart

Tagged by Francine. So here’s my take in this one:)

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.
In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you’re told that you’re loved. You’d like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful… that you’ll never change. You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please.Your ideal relationship is open. Both of you can talk about everything… no secrets.Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment. You think of marriage as something precious. You’ll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.

If I will be given another vacation, I would love to try this Mexico Vacations that I saw earlier today! I have never been to Mexico and its one of my a must visit places! Hubby and I are beach junkies so its expected that when summer time our destinations involves with beaches! But since I still haven’t been to Mexico, why not try this Azul Beach Hotel? I bet it would be great visiting this part of the country! I’ve heard wonderful words about this place and hopefully someday I will get to visit Mexico! One more thing about going to Mexico is that I would like to practice my Spanish! Know a little about it and it would be cool to see its people there...
